In the unlikely event that anyone wants to know, here's the obligatory "about me" list:
Name: Stephen David Kennedy
Born August 1972, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England
I am an undergraduate student at Keele University in Staffordshire, England
After a near miss or 2 (sigh), I'm single.
I enjoy playing poker. That's not where the nickname comes from, though - it's a reference to the mighty KLF and Kingboy D.
I've visited Asia, the USA, Eastern Europe and spent a year in Australia. I've still not topped my first long trip, the highlights of which were Cambodia, Malaysia and China.
I'm a PADI-certified scuba diver.
My interests include music, travel, poker and computers.
Favourites: Director: Alfred Hitchcock. Film: It's A Wonderful Life. Actor: James Stewart. Singer/songwriter: Bob Dylan. Group: Impossible to say. The Beatles would be the easy answer but I rarely listen to them any more (in fact, I listen to Paul and George's solo work far more frequently).
Besides wonderful parents I have a brother, Greg, and a sister, Laura.
Formerly (1987-1997) a radio amateur: G0LRI/G1YLP. I passed the radio amateurs examination aged 14 and achieved the full Class "A" aged 16.
I once had long hair and looked a bit like John Lennon; now it's thinning and I'm not cool any more!
Music is still important to me, but as I get older I'm buying less new releases than ever before. I hoped this day would never come! My tastes run from Motörhead to The Orb and back again. I have a massive collection (well over 1000 CDs) and it used to be fully catalogued. Tragically, I lost all my work in a hard disk crash a few years ago.
I have a dedicated (but ghostly) site for the freeware and shareware I've written - www.sdk-software.com. I'm a Microsoft Certified Professional.
You ain't seen me - roight.
