KLF.de (170)
The KLF - subversive, eccentric, fascinating, fiercely independent. Groups like this don't normally hit number one and sell truckloads of records but they did. [PS Would people stop referring to The KLF as a scam or music industry manipulators please?! They had their own indie label, who exactly did they manipulate? The fans? Nope. Chill Out is a lost masterpiece and even the 'stadium house' stuff sounds great today. They were 'pranksters', yes, but that's rather different.]
Cygwin (167)
A Linux-like environment for Windows. Gives me access to the bash shell and all my favourite utilities.
My Computing History (160)
Details how I got into IT, my early days on the internet and amateur packet radio, and my software development.
Concorde SST (160)
The top site about Concorde, Britain and France's legendary supersonic airliner. It was once a site buzzing with trip reports and news on the fleet, now, sadly, it's more of a shrine. An essential resource for those interested in aviation and the supersonic era.
Bob Dylan (158)
The best official site on the web bar none. Check out some of Dylan's lyrics, pure poetry.
WinAmp (156)
Still the best MP3 player, because it's powerful but simple.
ThumbsPlus (153)
Apparently it's a "highly customizable image database / thumbnails / graphics editor application that makes it easy to catalog, locate, maintain and modify all your graphics and multimedia files". I say, it's just great.
